Delete it in the game
Koiyume: Settings → Account → Request account deletion deletes your account, cloud save, friend code and public pond. The button shows whenever you have a cloud save, guest accounts included. If you never had a cloud save, your data is only on your device and uninstalling the game erases it.
Or ask us, in three steps
- Open the game, open Your profile (tap your level at the top of the screen) or Friends and copy your friend code. It lets us find your data without asking for your name or email. Children have no friend code: leave it empty and tell us your device type and roughly when you played. Do the same if you no longer have the game.
- Fill in the form on this page and press Write the email, or write to hello@swarmygames.com yourself with the subject “Delete my data”.
- We confirm within 7 days and finish within 30 days. You get an email when it is done.
What we delete
- Your cloud save and account, including the sign-in email if you used one.
- Your friend code, the gifts and visits linked to it, and your public pond.
- Bug reports you sent from the game, your support emails and anything else you sent us.
Web games keep your progress only in your browser, not with us. To erase it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings.
What we keep, and for how long
- Nothing from your purchases except a one-way hash that ties each store receipt to the deleted account, so the same receipt cannot be used again (fraud prevention). It cannot be linked back to you. Google Play and Apple keep their own records of the payment.
- A note that you asked for deletion, for up to two years, to prove we did it.
- A one-way hash of a deleted friend code, so the code is never given out again. It cannot be linked back to you.
- Data already made anonymous, which can no longer be linked to you.
Advertising data
Ad networks link data to your device’s advertising ID, not to us. To cut that link, reset or delete your advertising ID: on Android in Settings → Google → Ads, on iPhone by turning off Allow Apps to Request to Track in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Google’s own tools at My Ad Center manage the rest. Koiyume never reads the iPhone advertising identifier, so on iPhone there is nothing to reset for it.
